about us
what we offer + believe
we offer a variety of workshops, clubs, and events - in an inclusive, kind and supportive space. we're allies for the LGBTQ+ community and proud - we support all abilities and will do our very best to make any accommodations needed. we believe, we KNOW, art is for everyone and everyone's unique style and voice is important and needed in our world.
swoon welcomes all into the studio but as the banner inside says, all y'all are welcome but you gotta act right. swoon is a creative space to express yourself artistically, to connect with community, to ask questions, to try new things, to challenge yourself, and to have all the feelings (as the other sign says - you can cry here!) but first and foremost, we're inclusive and kind.
this is a no pressure, supportive space - we believe art first and foremost is for the artist, so the whole point is to enjoy yourself, relax, settle in, and make something in an environment that nurtures - what you make doesn't have to fit any mold, or anyone's expectation, not even your own, ok?
meet the owner
erin is a sewist, a maker, and an endlessly curious creative. She opened Swoon with her own handmade business in mind — and then the community had other plans. thanks to the wonderful humans who keep showing up, swoon has become something much cozier and more special than she ever imagined: a creative home for all kinds of makers.
